Necklace on Dots

What is a polka dot dress with out some denim? Just a sweet polka dot dress. While you can always wear a polka dot dress on its own, why not complete the look with a denim jacket that gives the dress some shape and structure? Add a bold statement piece and some booties to match, now you've got a little style to what would have been just a dress.

Remember style isn't always in multiple layers, sometimes its best to cuff a sleeve or add one unique piece to update the look. How will you wear your polka dot dress? The options are infinite!

Wrapped up in Florals

Dressing up a t-shirt and jeans is easy to do with a beautiful kimono wrap and a bright pair of heels. Not only does a kimono make a statement, but it is also fun to let flow in the breeze.

I chose this floral kimono wrap from Nordstrom to dress up my jeans and t-shirt look. I kept it relaxed by slightly tucking in my t-shirt and cuffing my denim and also added a pendant necklace, black bralette, and red heels to complete the look. What are some of your go-to looks for a pair of jeans and a t-shirt? You can't go wrong with something so simple and not to mention comfortable.

Shades of Blue

It's always easy to dress up a simple outfit with a pair of heels and a unique statement necklace. And for this post I decided to do just that, but in shades of blue. What would have been a lose fitting collared shirt and jeans, became something more with a few embellishments. The best way to accomplish this with any outfit is, looking for one of two pieces that add a pop of color or even a little sparkle.

For my look here I wore a blue striped collared shirt over a navy bralette and a pair of cuffed jeans. I then added an iridescent statement necklace and a pair of periwinkle blue suede shoes.

How will you wear shade of blue? Or give a simple look something extra for that "notice me" factor? You never know until you try.
