First I will start with colored tights. This can be very tricky and can go wrong quickly... so I will give you some of my best tips to make colored tights a success in your wardrobe.
- colored tights can most easily be worn with a solid color dress that compliments the color of your garment. For example think of a navy dress. This can be best paired with mustard yellow tights because the yellow will make the navy pop
- another easy way to work the colors are with printed clothes. For example a navy, fuchsia, and yellow plaid shirt worn with shorts can be paired with a pair of tights that pull out a color from that paid shirt.
- use accessories to help tie in your colored tights selection
- lastly use colored tights to help color-block an outfit. For example wear a khaki jacket, bright blue skirt, rust orange colored tights paired with brown boots.
