7 Days of Chambray - Day 2

Feeling a little bit of a 70s vibe with this look. I decided to pair my chambray with a crocheted fringe top and maxi skirt tied up to show off the tan ankle booties. I used the floppy hat and feather necklace to tie everything all together for a casual look that still feels pulled together.

The best part about this outfit it that it is all under $175. The chambray shirt (H&M) $15, crochet top (Nordstrom) $34, maxi skirt (Nordstrom) $38, booties (Report) $68, hat (Nordstrom) $12, necklace (Forever 21) $3. Not to shabby considering that all pieces can be interchanged into multiple outfits. Hopefully this budget friendly styling inspires you to try something new with your chambray. Happy Styling!

7 Days of Chambray/ Denim - Day 1 on The Queen Mary

Whether or not we like to admit it, fashion plays a large role in history. It's because of icons like Princess Diana that have proved how integral fashion is to the world and it's history. I am inspired by Princess Diana not only because of her fashion but also the grace and compassion she showed throughout her lifetime. She is a true role model and that is why I had to visit her exhibit at The Queen Mary to learn more about her and see some of the famous pieces that she once wore. Here is a little peak into my day on The Queen Mary and my own style that I chose for the occasion. Enjoy!

Lace on Wheels

Pretty excited about the fact that I got to ride a motorcycle for the first time the other day. Not only did I check that off my bucket list, but considering that I was wearing a dress, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to blog my outfit as well!

For this look, I paired my lace maxi dress with a bralette, biker style crop jacket, and combat boots. One of my favorite ways to wear a very girly dress is to add edgy pieces to make the look less frilly and a bit unexpected. It didn't hurt that I got to pose with a Harley for this look either!

CAUTION: Ride a Harley in a dress at your own risk! For safety purposes I tied up my dress and made sure to wear a helmet. Happy styling and Harley riding!
