Peplums are a Love it for me!
For those who have no idea as to what a peplum is... "A short overskirt or ruffle attached at the waistline of a jacket, blouse, skirt, or
dress" (thefreedictionary.com).
When it comes to style I am very girly and I feel that peplums fit that category. This trend looks great with floral pants, bright colored shorts, and dresses. I am a fan of printed and solid color peplums and actually own a few of my own. See the end of this post for pictures of my own peplum looks.
Another reason that I love about the peplum look is that it has come back over and over and proven to be a trend that will always reappear in a new way. Peplums were also popular in the 40's and 80's. In my opinion I feel that the 40s did the trend right while the 80s took peplum to a level it never should have gone. Nonetheless now the peplum is back and looking better than ever. Here are a few photos of my favorite peplum looks.

Since I have started my blog I have gotten requests for me to include more pictures of myself in the fashions and trends I write about. So...
