Suit it UP!

Another great post idea from my good friend Jackie. She suggested that I do a suit post for the hard working women that need professional work attire. I found multiple suit options, some that are traditional and others that are trendy. I have always been a fan of menswear for women and think that a woman in a suit can be a beautiful statement. Check out these fashionable suit statements and get inspired for whenever you may need to SUIT IT UP.

Halloween Pumpkin Painting

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I am always trying to come up with new ideas to get crafty for this holiday. This year I decided to paint pumpkins so that they would last longer and still look fun for the season.

The supplies you will need for all the pumpkins:
  • pumpkins
  • black paint
  •  paint brushes
  • glue gun
  • trash bag (or newspaper for a safe workspace)
  • orange sharpie
  • scissors
  • glow in the dark puffy paint
  • flat stringed pearls
  • lace
  • mod podge
I hope this inspires you to paint your own pumpkins this year! And please feel free to share. I always love to see what others creatively come up with. Wishing you a happy and safe ALL HALLOWS EVE!

Boston Through My Eyes

I spent the last week visiting family and traveling with my good friend Jamie, on the east coast in Hudson, Massachusetts. While I was there, I went into Boston, Concord, Lexington, and Sudbury to see all the historical sites. I also found myself in Newport, Rhode Island to see the famous mansions. I had so much fun catching up with family and getting a refresher course in United States history.

From walking through the battle of Lexington, re-living the lives of the rich in their Newport, RI mansions, and apple picking at Honeypot Orchards, I had a blast! The city of Boston has lots to offer and even after all the history I find myself wanting more. Here are lots photos of my adventure this past week. I hope you enjoy seeing Boston, and part of the east coast through my eyes!
